Here, the smell of lavender and the sound of cicadas fill the air. Days drift between the hilltop towns and markets nearby and the heated pool at home, and the old stone farmhouse is the backdrop to all of it.

Wander through the olive grove and pick fruit from the orchard. Sip local wine in the ancient stone courtyard as the fountain murmurs. Dine under a canopy of vines on the west terrace and watch the sun sink into the valley. At the end of the day, unwind in the indoor spa before a restful sleep in one of six beautiful bedrooms.

A Gourmand’s Dream

Mornings begin with coffee, fresh bread from the village and long light across the stone.

Two indoor dining spaces, each seating eight, and two more out beneath the open sky: there is always a table to suit the hour. The gourmet chef’s kitchen, with its Lacanche induction range, Miele appliances, two dishwashers and wood-burning fireplace, makes cooking a delight.

The Gardens

The grounds of the farmhouse are a world of their own.

Each corner offers something different as the day turns. Lounge by the heated pool, play a game of pétanque, fire the pizza oven in the stone courtyard, stroll through the olive and fruit orchards, or lose an afternoon with a book on the vine-covered west terrace.

A room for every mood.

Watch the sunset from the formal living room with a cocktail in hand, or gather by a roaring fire for a board game. In the den, beneath ancient wood beams, a deep sectional faces a 100-inch projector screen.

An indoor spa, set within the old stone walls.

Swim in the heated pool as the sun sinks into the valley, then settle into the warmth of the Finnish sauna. Through the arched window, the vineyards fade to blue.

Sweet Dreams

Six spacious, beautiful, air-conditioned bedrooms: four ensuite with a private bath, and two sharing a Jack-and-Jill bath, ideal for children. Five bathrooms have both a tub and a shower; the sixth has a large walk-in shower. A powder room completes the main floor.
